BEHAVIOURAL OPTOMETRY
Behavioural optometry is an area of optometry that goes beyond simply clarity of vision. It involves assessment of near focussing and eye-teaming which are important for optimal visual comfort and efficiency. Additionally, in primary school aged children, assessment of visual processing skills can assist in understanding reading difficulties in some children.
Our optometrists use specialised techniques to effectively assess, manage and treat all types of visual difficulties.
All of our optometrists are members or fellows of the Australasian College of Behavioural Optometry (ACBO).
